Our stories

Ben is Isaac’s dad and the Executive Director of Isaac’s Smiles. He is also the main creator and coordinator of any woodworking items including urns, memory boxes, picture frames, etc. Ben’s family has a long history of public service/helping others. His father and grandfather both retired from the fire department and Ben served in the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman.

Beth is Isaac’s mom as well as serving as Director for Isaac’s Smiles.  Beth is responsible for creating crocheted items such as hats presented to the families in the hospital as something nice to dress their angel in.  She made a similar hat for Isaac that was instrumental in creating incredibly memorable pictures with Isaac.

Ashley gave birth to twin girls at 25 weeks 5 days gestation. Ava Marie passed away after 36 hours of life due to prematurity and a pulmonary hemorrhage.  As someone who knows first hand the struggles of fertility, pregnancy, and infant loss, Ashley is an advocate and pillar for Isaac’s Smiles.
